Born in the western U.S. in 1962, somehow I don't identify myself as a boomer. I am the “abused” middle sibling, and I love both my sisters dearly. Now retired, I was happy to leave behind the legal profession after a pretty successful career.
My reading tends to be fantasy, science fiction, and history. I enjoy games, especially RPGs like the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games. A reformed comic book junkie, I now indulge in too much anime. I enjoy travel, hiking, and camping.
I long toyed with the idea of writing fiction, going back to high school and college. A creative writing course in college further whetted my appetite. In college I also was one of two writers in a group of artists that published an amateur comic fanzine. After a long dry spell, I started writing again in my mid-40’s. Several unpublished novels resulted. I now seek to publish my new projects. I enjoy the luxury of trying to write stories that touch me regardless of how marketable they are.
